Kanye West Interrupts Taylor Swift's VMA Acceptance Speech

Kanye West Interrupts Taylor Swift's VMA Acceptance SpeechKanye West Interrupts Taylor Swift's VMA Acceptance Speech, In what was arguably an upset win, Taylor Swift's 'You Belong With Me' video took home the MTV Video Music Award for Best Female Video on Sunday, beating Beyonce's 'Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It),' Lady GaGa's 'Poker Face,' Kelly Clarkson's 'My Life Would Suck Without You,' Katy Perry's 'Hot n Cold' and Pink's 'So What.'. The country superstar's victory apparently did not sit well with rap superstar Kanye West, who stormed the stage and stole the mic from Taylor during her acceptance speech.

"Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time. Of all time!" Kanye declared, as a stunned Taylor looked on, keeping her cool by keeping a big smile on her face.

This was not Kanye's first temper tantrum at a show -- nor his first time to diss a country star. He stormed out of the 2004 American Music Awards when he lost the Best New Artist Award to Gretchen Wilson, insisting to reporters that he was the best new artist of the year. He also stormed the stage at the 2006 MTV Europe Awards upon losing Video of the Year honors, stealing the microphone from winners Justice and Simian, saying his video deserved to win because "it cost a million dollars and Pamela Anderson was in it."
