'The Emancipation of Mimi' creator took to Twitter to share the news of the actor-entrepreneur with her more than 5 million followers. "Please pray for Nick as he's fighting to recover from a mild kidney failure. #mybraveman," she tweeted alongside a photo of herself lying beside Cannon in a hospital bed.
The 31-year-old Cannon traveled to Aspen, Colo. with Carey and twin babies Monroe and Moroccan for Christmas. He was rushed to the hospital during his family vacation as a result of issues with his kidneys.
