It shows a large fire growth, particularly in the north and west sides, as it burns more in the Angeles National Forest and threatening homes in the country faced in the south. The fire has burned through Big Tujunga Road and west of Mt. Lukens. Threat to homes in La Canada-Flintridge, Altadena and Glendale.

The fire is fueled by high temperatures, low fuel moisture, steep slopes, dense vegetation and low humidity. Southeast winds 6-12 mph contributed to the spread of fire on Saturday afternoon. Firefighters report that the fire has burned 20,102 acres and is 5% contained.
